Biography of Nobuo Tanihata

Nobuo Tanihata was born in Toyama Prefecture Japan, in 1966. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rissho University. During the following four years, he worked for a company dealing in building materials before returning to his hometown in 1992 to take over his father’s Kumiko Ramma business. Over five years he learned how to manage the business, and started online marketing in 2000. This now accounts for 90 % of total sales. In 2003 he became president of Tanihata. Since the summer of 2011, Nobuo Tanihata has been a contributing writer, on “Internet for Traditional Industry” in the IT magazine COMPASS.
